Them Crooked Vultures album out in November?

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

If this is true then Them Crooked Vultures still might make it so that they're my number one album of 2009.
Thanks to a tip from a buddy on Twitter (GigConnection is the guy you wanna follow) we have found out that the debut album from the megagroup consisting of Josh Homme, Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones is coming out this November. Amazon… Read More

Blur become Lego Rock Band avatars

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

Blur's short-lived reunion over the summer made many a fan happy especially if they went to one of their shows. However we Americans feel we got the short end of the stick. No Blur reunion came to our shores and we had to settle with pics and bad YouTube videos of the band playing together again. Cake goes green for new album

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

Cake is awesome. Both the food and the band but in this case I'm talking about the band. The guys are gearing up to release their sixth studio album next year and they're going about it in a different way. They recorded their new, untitled album in a studio converted to be completely green by running entirely on solar power (via Consequence of Sound).… Read More

Rock Band: Queen? Just maybe

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

So the hot trend right now, if you're a mega-rock band, is to get your own video game. The Beatles got one, AC/DC had their own pack, Van Halen is getting one, Pearl Jam is getting one, U2 is working on one and now the band Queen may jump into the digital rock ring with their own version of Rock Band.
In an interview with the BBC (via Kotaku) guitarist Brian… Read More
