The Beatles for 25 cents

The Beatles. The one band you wish would sell their catalog digitally so you wouldn’t have to go out and buy the physical copies of their albums. Rhapsody, iTunes, Amazon and other have tried and failed to woo the Fab Four’s music to their sites. So who is BlueBeat.com and how are they selling the entire Beatles catalog for 25 cents a song?!

By applying to be a member of the site (for free, btw) you can buy single Beatles tracks for only a quarter or you can stream every single one of their albums in its entirety. Now this is great news except for one thing. No one’s really sure if this website is doing this legally.

Calls to EMI and Apple from MusicRadar (via Antiquiet) only received responses like “We’re looking into it.” So before the labels look into it too much, head over to the site and buy up some Beatles on the cheap.
