Joe Perry can’t spell very well



All I’ll say is that if the Twitter post above was on Craigslist no one would take it seriously. This is from Joe Perry’s official Twitter page where he misspelled the fact that Aerosmith is not breaking up and that they’re seriously looking for a new lead singer (via Billboard).

Perry tweeted this yesterday in the ongoing online war of words between himself and Steven Tyler who blindsided the band from Boston when said in an interview to Classic Rock Magazine that he was working on his solo career. So Perry has been returning fire, so to speak, via the social networking site with tweets like, “Aerosmith is definitely NOT breaking up. One of the members is doing his own thing and said so in the press. That’s all I know.” and that Aerosmith was playing “hotter than ever”.

With the unemployment rate in the U.S. now over 10%, you might wanna consider going for this job. Who should be Aerosmith’s new frontman? Whoever it is, he’ll have some big lips shoes to fill.
