Slayer has just announced their rescheduled dates with Megadeth in Canada since bassist Tom Araya had issues with his back and couldn’t perform. But that’s not what we care about for this post.

Slayer has just announced their “American Carnage” tour that also includes Megadeth (via CoS). While it’s not the Big Four of Thrash, this is a significant show being that the last time these two bands toured together in the States was all the way back in 1991. In addition to that, the band Testament will also join them for these shows.

The tour kicks off on January 18th in Seattle, WA and will end on February 23rd in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Tickets for the tour go on sale this week on November 20th through Ticketmaster. All of the tour dates are down below.

What’s even cooler about this is that the bands have decided, “In recognition of the tough economic times that many of their fans are having,” that a limited amount of tickets to all the shows will be available for the 1991 price of $10. Plus Ticketmaster is holding a presale starting on November 18th at 10am and it will end on November 19th at 10pm. Ten dollar tickets for two of the biggest thrash metal bands on the planet? You’d be ridiculous not to go!
