Arcade Fire releasing new album in May 2010?
Over the last few weeks we’ve been hearing news trickle out about the new Arcade Fire album which, according to all the blog hype, is expected to be THE album of 2010. But we weren’t sure exactly when in 2010 Arcade Fire would come and save our ears from the other doom and gloom albums that are coming out next year…until now.
NME is saying that the Canadian indie-rockers will release their album in May of 2010. There will be a single released early next year prior to the album coming out. Also it’s been reported the band are weighing a few options for shows in the spring of 2010 and possibly headlining a few summer festivals.
Arcade Fire at Bonnaroo? Coachella? Lollapalooza? Outside Lands? We’re waiting to see but for now we’re going to speculate like the rest of you.
