The Flaming Lips releasing Dark Side of the Moon cover album

Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon is one of the best albums in rock music. There’s no debating that fact. So for a band to try and cover the entire album, you would have to be a bit insane. Which is why The Flaming Lips might be the right band for the job.
Wayne Coyne and the boys of Oklahoma City are releasing the album, entitled The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Ding the Dark Side of the Moon , will be released on December 22nd via iTunes. A week later, on December 29th, the album will be available on all other digital retailers (via CoS).
Henry Rollins on a Dark Side of the Moon cover album? This could be quite surprising record to see how Rollins and Peaches are used in the Lips’ interpretation. Or it could be a complete disaster but I’m pulling for the former in this case. You can check out the tracklisting down below. Also The Flaming Lips will perform Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety on New Years Eve in Oklahoma City, OK and you can get tickets for it right here.
