Avenged Sevenfold drummer found dead
Sad news for all fans of Avenged Sevenfold as its been reported that drummer James “The Rev” Sullivan was found dead at his home in Huntington Beach on Monday December 28th.
So far it’s being reported that he died of natural causes. Rev was only 28-years old. In addition to being the drummer and an original member of A7X, Rev was also the lead vocalist of the band Pinkly Smooth.
Rev is survived by his wife Leana MacFadden. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family, friends and the fans of James “The Rev” Sullivan. He was responsible for bringing a lot of noise and fury to Avenged Sevenfold and he will be extremely hard to replace.
UPDATE: Avenged Sevenfold have released a statement regarding the death of The Rev:
Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly, he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.

I have been many of your best songs on drums, but I’ll, actually nobody will ever be as good as you and we will miss you. You inspired me to play drums and I thank you for that. R.I.P James “The REV” Sullivan. :’(

E stato un grande batterista e per dire la verità manca a tutti .Non so che dire il 28 dicembre del 2009 il mondo è cambiato .E scomparsa una stella del metal .Un ultima cosa Jimmy rimarrà nei cuori di tutti i fans degli A7X .Riposa in pace ,,THE REV,,!!:’(
