Hooray for Wilco and their decision to add a ton of dates on the east coast for their upcoming spring tour! Double hooray that they’re playing back to back shows at Montclair, NJ’s Wellmont Theater! Looks like all you NYC fans have to make a trek to North Jersey if you want your Jeff Tweedy fix this time around.

The band set to play at the Winter Olympics will head back to the U.S. after bouncing around the great white north for a bit. A total of 16 shows, starting at The Fillmore in Miami Beach on March 22nd, will take Tweedy and Co. on the road throughout the eastern part of the U.S of A. What’s even better is that they’ll play midsized venues like the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ and the Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton, PA.

All the new tour dates are below and I recommend you get yourself to one of these shows. When a band like Wilco play smaller venues, that’s when you know they’re gonna break out all the good stuff. Also, to all the NYCers that hate taking a trip to NJ for a show like this, I can almost guarantee that our state’s guidos and guidettes won’t be anywhere near this show. No need to fear.
