Linkin Park, Slash, Dave Matthews donate new music for Haiti

The tragedy of the earthquake in Haiti has caused an outpouring of help and support from millions of people. Among those millions include artists who have released new music for us to download and voluntarily donate funds for Haiti.
Linkin Park’s charity Music for Relief, which they started after the tsunamis in 2004, has brought together artists including Slash, Alanis Morrissette, The All-American Rejects, Hoobastank, Dave Matthews Band, Peter Gabriel, Kenna, Enrique Iglesias and Lupe Fiasco for Download To Donate For Haiti.
The player down below features all of the new music by these artists. You can listen to them in their entirety, download the songs you like and then donate what you can on a voluntary basis. 100% of the funds will go to providing needs and support to the Haitian people. “We’re encouraging people to give what they can,” said Slash. “There’s no right or wrong amount. The people of Haiti are in desperate need of food, fresh water, shelter and medical supplies and every little bit helps.”
“We pray that this initiative provides some relief and support to the survivors and hope we inspire our fans, friends and families to make donations as well,” said Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
In addition to this, a telethon entitled Hope for Haiti will air on major television networks this Friday night at 7pm est and features a ton of amazing artists from Bruce Springsteen to Jay-Z to U2.
We here at the RiO!B hope that you can help by contributing what you can towards Haiti. It was a devastating event but we have the power to provide hope for everyone involved in the catastrophe.
