New Daft Punk leaked?
I know this is a rock music blog so people may ask “Dude, why the post about Daft Punk? They’re not rock!” First of all, uneducated one, they were a band before going into electronic music. Secondly, they have a kickass song called “Robot Rock”. Thirdly the word “punk” is in their name and finally I love ‘em and this is my website so back off, skippy.
That being said, up top is a possibly leaked song from Daft Punk called “Fragile” for the Tron Legacy soundtrack. MTV recently spoke with the director of the film, Joseph Kosinski, who raved about Daft Punk doing the music for the film.
“These guys take Tron very seriously,” said Kosinski “I’ve been working on it with them for over a year and a half. I don’t know of a movie where you’re working on the soundtrack months before you start filming. The level of integration between the music and the film is incredibly strong.”
As for the song itself, it definitely sounds like Daft Punk. A great beat you can dance to while having that chiming electro vibe to it. If this is what the soundtrack for Tron Legacy sounds like the whole way through then I would like to know where I can pre-order this bad boy.
