Lamb Of God filming tour documentary
Heavy metal band Lamb Of God will be on tour for most of this year and they want us to see exactly where they’re headed.
Noisecreep recently spoke with the Lamb’s drummer, Chris Adler, about why they want to film their exploits on the road.
“We are out on tour until October, and we will go to crazy places,” said Adler. “This time, we will bring a film crew on these runs with us, since we will be in such bizarre places like Singapore, where they don’t even sell our records, but 10,000 kids will still show up. We want to document this music and how what we do crosses the language and commerce barriers. Hopefully, we will find some trouble along, and if someone gets in jail, it won’t be too much trouble to get him out. It’ll probably be Randy (Blythe, vocalist)!”
2K9 was a good year for the band as they toured with Metallica, their newest album Wrath punched in at #2 on the Billboard charts and they were nominated for a grammy for Best Metal Performance for their song “Set To Fail”.
As for what 2010 and this tour/documentary will bring? Adler sums it up in one sentence. “”It would be a damn good video to see one of us getting caned!”
