Ozzfest returns in 2010

Metalheads of the U.S. and the world, rejoice! For I bring you tidings of good cheer and bad beer. The traveling heavy metal show that is Ozzfest will return this year after taking time off in 2009.
There’s no other info on the festival except that it will make its return in July which is the same month that Ozzy Osbourne will release his brand new album. Speaking of his album, it will no longer be called Soul Sucka.
Ozzy spoke to Rolling Stone recently and addressed the odd title choice. “When we put that on the Internet none of my fan base liked the title. They were like, ‘I can’t imagine me walking around the fucking house with the words “Soul Sucka” on my T-shirt.’ So I was like, ‘Fuck it. I’ve got to come up with something else!’”
The aging Prince of Darkness also addressed the removal of guitarist Zakk Wylde from this album and replacing him with Greek axeman Gus G. “People are going to say, ‘Oh, you’re falling out with Zakk,’” he says. “No, I haven’t fallen out with Zakk. I mean, he [does not] need me anymore, Zakk. He actually has his own fucking thing, you know. I knew I had to get another guitar player for a while. I just kept putting it off and putting it off.”
So what are Ozzy’s plans after the album is released this July? “After Ozzfest, I’m doing the most extensive tour of my life. It’ll be something like 3,025 dates.”
I’m pretty sure that Sharon won’t let him out of the house for that many shows but ya never know.
