Muse want to make Nirvana-inspired tour doc
Muse has put together a few DVD’s of live shows including 2005′s Absolution Tour and 2008′s H.A.A.R.P. But for their next DVD, according to NME, they want to do a tour documentary that was inspired by Nirvana.
Bassist Chris Wolstenholme said that the band wants to do something a bit different for their next DVD release. Instead of just another live show, they want to do a full on tour documentary that will go behind the scenes with the band.
“Something a little bit more like Nirvana’s Live! Tonight! Sold Out!,” he said. “I think that was one of the best tour documentaries I’ve ever watched; just life on the road and what it’s like, with obviously a bit of music here and there, and other loads of other random stuff as well.”
Muse is currently in Australia for the Big Day Out Festival before continuing on their massive headlining world tour. You can see all of their upcoming tour dates over at their website.
