Red Hot Chili Peppers perform at MusiCares with Josh Klinghoffer
When it was first announced that Red Hot Chili Peppers would play the MusiCares Person of the Year awards dinner in honor of Neil Young, many of us assumed it would be with longtime RHCP axeman John Frusciante. But after Frusciante said that he was leaving the band and Josh Klinghoffer would take his place, a lot of fans and bloggers were curious as to what the new band would sound like. We now have our tip of the iceberg.
Up top you can check Anthony Kiedis and the funky bunch play Neil Young’s song “A Man Needs A Maid”. The quality of the video isn’t that great but this documents the first time the band has played with Josh as the main guitarist (via CoS).
