Black Rebel Motorcycle Club has gear stolen

Theft! There’s been a theft! Someone has stolen quite a few guitars from the band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and they would like them back.

The band posted on their website that someone broke into a storage closet of theirs and made off with quite a few vintage pieces of equipment. The storage closet belonged to Robert Been who is the band’s sound man and father of singer/bassist Robert Levon Been.

The following items were taken:

- Fender 1954 Esquire (Yellow With Black Pick Guard)
- Ampeg 1968 Scroll Top Fretless Bass
- Black Fender 1964 Precision Bass
- Gretsch Country Gentleman 1968 Single Cutaway

Hopefully they find these guitars because that is some costly equipment. May the perpetrator be found soon and hung from his scrotum for what he has done!
