Muse and Stevie Wonder headlining Glastonbury

Two new headliners have been announced for the Glastonbury festival this year. They’re from complete opposites of the spectrum but still are amazing choices.

NME reports that festival organizer Michael Eavis recently confirmed that Muse would headline the festival on Saturday June 26. Which means between Muse on Saturday and U2 headlining the day before is going to mean two massive days of arena rock.

As for Sunday June 27, the headliner hasn’t been officially confirmed yet but Eavis has said that they’re working on getting the legendary Stevie Wonder to end the festival. Could you imagine the sweet sounds of “Superstition” blaring over a crowd of that magnitude? I hope they do get him because that would be amazing.

Other acts confirmed for Glastonbury include Vampire Weekend, Hot Chip and Jack Johnson. Head on over to Glastonbury’s website for ticket info even though the festival is already sold out.
