First and foremost, a big congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for their massive Super Bowl victory over the Indianapolis Colts. The team and the city deserved it and Mardi Gras is kicking off early on Bourbon Street. My guess is no one is going to work anytime soon down there. But another congratulations goes out to rock n’ roll for the halftime performance by The Who. While it wasn’t the most exciting or energetic halftime show (that honor goes to Bruce Springsteen) it was still a solid performance from Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend. Their medley consisted of the songs “Pinball Wizard”, “Baba O’Riley”, “Who Are You?”, the closing of “Tommy” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again”. Check out the video of the full performance up top courtesy of my buddy The Audio Perv. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
