Soundgarden to release debut Sub Pop single on Record Store Day

With the return of Soundgarden this year, you can expect the band to make as much noise as possible regarding their comeback. Everything from reunion shows and festival appearances to releasing songs on obscure holidays meant for audiophiles.

The band has announced that they’re releasing a limited orange vinyl 7″ re-issue of their debut Sub Pop single “Hunted Down” and the b-side “Nothing To Say” for Record Store Day on April 17.

Record Store Day, for the uninformed, is when independent record stores team up with artists and labels to release exclusive content while promoting the importance of your local record store. To learn more about Record Store Day, head over to their official website to see if your local store participates in the day’s events.
