Cypress Hill return with new album

Rap-rockers Cypress Hill are returning April 6 with their new album Rise Up. This is the band’s first new record since 2004′s Til Death Do Us Part.

This album is set to be a big one as B-Real, Sen Dog and the rest of the crew have teamed up with some big names in rock music including Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, System Of A Down’s Daron Malakian and Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.

The past few years have seen the members of Cypress Hill working on solo projects. But now, with new member DJ Julio G, the band began laying down beats from as far back as three years ago. The song “Rise Up”, featuring Morello on guitar, is currently up on iTunes and their upcoming single “Armada Latina” features vocals from rapper Pitbull.
