Watch: OK Go – “This Too Shall Pass”
It’s becoming safe to say that OK Go is responsible for some of the most creative music videos. Ever since their viral treadmill sensation for “Here It Goes Again”, they’ve continued to raise the bar higher when combining music with a visual element. The new video for their song “This Too Shall Pass” will be a tough one to top.
Watch the video up top which features, quite possibly, the largest and most intricate Rube Goldberg machine I have ever seen in my life. In addition to that, the video is shot completely in one continuous take. The machine was built over the course of several months by members of the band and by the people from SynnLabs. It was filmed in a two-story warehouse in Echo Park, CA.
I can only wonder how many times they had to rehearse this video before shooting the final product. But what a final product it turned out to be! Watch the video and prepare to applaud loudly by the end.
OK Go’s new album, Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky, is in stores now. Go buy it based solely on this video.
