Coldplay debuts brand new song called “Don Quixote”

Apparently the best place for a band to play in the entire world is Buenos Aires, Argentina. That’s what Chris Martin of Coldplay said to the crowd in Argentina before playing them a brand new song.

Consequence Of Sound came across this live stream of a new song called “Don Quixote” which immediately invites you to chant the familiar refrain “Olé Olé Olé” along to the acoustic guitar strums.

For some reason, however, the song almost sounded like it was taking the same melody from Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark”. But then again, with Coldplay’s history of plagiarism, I shouldn’t be surprised. But then again I listened to this song while half-asleep so maybe it doesn’t sound like it…whatever. This is my blog and I’ll say what I want.
