Slash to star in It Might Get Loud sequel?

The documentary It Might Get Loud featured three of the most well-known guitarists today: Jimmy Page, Jack White and The Edge. But some people have asked the fair question, “Why wasn’t Slash in the film?” Well those people may get to see that happen after all.
Film producer Thomas Tull is considering doing a sequel to the guitar doc and may want the Guns N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver axeman to star in it (via Blabbermouth).
Slash spoke to The Pulse Of Radio about seeing the film and his possible involvement in the next installment.
“I love Jack White and I love Jimmy Page and I learned, I guess, a little bit about The Edge because I’d never really been much of a — I just never really followed those guys,” said Slash. “The reason I saw it was because the producer, Thomas Tull, called me up and had me come down to a screening. So he wants to do another one. We’ll see what happens. I would do it, definitely.”
Considering Slash is one of the most recognizable guitarists in the world and some of his riffs are considered to be the famous, it does make sense that he would be in a movie that explores how his songs and sounds are made on a guitar.
So if this does happen and Slash ends up being in It Might Get Loud 2, what other guitarists should join him for a little conversation?

Yeah, he has some really good riffs, but look at the first movie and look at what they explained throughout it. Page, White and The Edge changed music, they added on new technologies and sounds that have never been done before and created amazing songs with it as well, don’t get me wrong, Slash has very amazing riffs. But again, they changed music forever.

They should get 80′s guitarist Johnny Marr, and add Jeff Beck or Pete Townsend that would be interesting.

Well the Heaven version would be Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, and Kurt Cobain.
However, in the reality we all must inhabit, I envision the elder-statesman guy being either Carlos Santana, Keith Richards, Pete Townshend or Eric Clapton, the middle guy maybe Slash, Billy Gibbons or Eddie van Halen, and the young buck perhaps as Dan Auerbach, Todd Park Mohr (of Big Head Todd & the Monsters), or Joe Bonnamassa.
