RiO! Band of the Week – Random Hand
Our brand new band of the week on the RiO!B hails from West Yorkshire, U.K. and based on their music, that town is full of kids ready to jump into a mosh pit. Ladies and Gentlemen may I present Random Hand.
This four-piece group manages to meld ska, punk and metal music into one tight little package. Kind of like a timebomb. But these guys are already exploding throughout the U.K. music scene.
Their music could be best described as the following. Streetlight Manifesto but with more balls. Dropkick Murphys if they had taken the ska route. Sublime but if they were angrier. Get the picture yet? I recommend you make your way over to their Myspace page and wrap your head around their solid songs.
But will they be our band of the month for March? You’ll be the one to decide in our band battle.
