RiO! Band of the Week – The Muggs
The city of Detroit, Michigan has long been known to be a hotbed of music. From Iggy and The Stooges to The White Stripes, bands are constantly trying to bring Detroit to the forefront of rock music again. Another band on that mission is our band of the week and they’re called The Muggs.
The picture above may look like it’s from the 70′s and that’s very apropos considering their music is heavily inspired by 70′s blues-rock. The Muggs have been around since 2000 but their music has that nostalgic feel to it that makes you think you’re listening to your dad’s old LP’s.
