But seriously, folks, it’s time for more Record Store Day goodness. This time from the blues-rock duo from Akron, OH known as The Black Keys.
Now if you’re not aware because you’re musically retarded, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney are releasing their brand spankin’ new album, Brothers, on May 11. You can make your way over to their site to pre-order a copy (which now includes a deluxe edition) if you so choose.
Their Myspace page has been streaming the new song “Tighten Up” for a while now and it was what they released on one side of their Record Store Day EP. The other side, however, is what we’re streaming here. The song is called “Howlin’ For You” and it is an absolute must listen. It appears on the new album as well.
