Howard Jones returns to Killswitch Engage

After a brief absence from Killswitch Engage, frontman Howard Jones is ready to reclaim his place at the mic.
Jones announced that he was leaving KsE back in February citing personal reasons. Singer Phil Labonte and former KsE lead singer Jesse Leach took his place on the band’s recent tour with Devil Wears Prada and Dark Tranquility.
The band released a statement back in February regarding Jones’s decision to take a small hiatus.
It became overwhelmingly obvious to all of us around Howard that he is in no condition to be on tour right now and that he needed to get off the road and get himself better. It’s a personal matter and while we understand everyone’s curiosity and concern for Howard and the band, we appreciate everyone respecting Howard’s privacy at this time.
Killswitch Engage’s first show back with Jones will be on May 19th in Norfolk, VA (via Noisecreep). The rest of their upcoming shows are listed below.
Killswitch Engage tour dates:
5/19 – Norfolk, VA
5/20 – Pittsburgh, PA
5/21 – Rochester, N.Y
5/22 – Columbus, OH
6/27 – Belgium
