Watch: Beck’s Record Club – “I Need You Tonight”
This is just awesome. Thanks to Antiquiet I came across this musical gold nugget that I want to share with all of you.
Beck has put together what is called his “Record Club”. Basically he gets a bunch of friends together (friends to him, rock stars to us) and they cover whole albums for fun. They’ve put their spin on albums from Leonard Cohen and The Velvet Underground and now they’re taking on Kick by INXS.
Up top is their version of the classic tune “I Need You Tonight”. Annie Clark aka St. Vincent handles the vocals while a funky instrumental surrounds her sweet voice. You’ll be listening to/watching this one for a while.

Thank you very much for another helpful post. I have been a big fan for a few months, and I have been enjoying ever second of it With so many autogenerated blogs out there, its refreshing to find a real one.
