Watch: Gorillaz at Coachella

Gorillaz were, by far, one of the most anticipated acts to check out at Coachella this past weekend.
Hundreds of thousands of sun-drenched festival goers made their way to the main stage to check out Damon Albarn’s animated musical concoction and they were not disappointed.
But there were many of us, myself included, who couldn’t make it out to Indio so we sit and scour the interwebs in the hopes that someone there shot a snippet of their set on video and put it up on YouTube. We have found our snippets.
Check out the videos to see them perform the song “Melancholy Hill” and Albarn with rap group De La Soul perform the massive hit “Feel Good, Inc.” from the album Demon Days.
Now there is a chance for everyone to check out Gorillaz performing live. Consequence of Sound have reported that Gorillaz will make an appearance on The Colbert Report this Thursday, April 22nd and perform a song from Plastic Beach. I’m really hoping they break out “Superfast Jellyfish”.
They also plan to stream a live concert they’re holding on April 30th at London’s Roundhouse at gorillaz.mtv.com. After the live stream, the performance will be available online to watch for a short period of time before it’s edited down to an hour for MTV World Stage in June.
So if you’ve been craving any and all things Gorillaz, your fix is coming real soon.
