Watch: Atoms For Peace at Coachella

I finally found them! Didn’t think it would take this long but they’re finally here.
Of course, I’m talking about videos of Thom Yorke’s funky new band Atoms For Peace. They played the Coachella festival over the weekend and, based on the videos, they killed it!
It’s amazing what a live band can do for Thom’s songs from his 2006 solo album The Eraser. I love the album but I love it even more now because of the added funk provided by the bass stylings of Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers. It adds a whole new dimension to the music AND you can actually dance to it now which is always an added bonus.
Below are some of the videos from their Coachella set including Thom playing a new song called “Give Up The Ghost” which incorporates the use of a loop pedal. If you didn’t get to see these guys live on their recent tour then consider this your front row seat.
Thom Yorke – “Give Up The Ghost”
Atoms For Peace – “Cymbal Rush”
Atoms For Peace – Black Swan
Atoms For Peace – “Atoms For Peace”
Atoms For Peace – “Harrowdown Hill”
Atoms For Peace – “The Clock”
Thom Yorke – “Airbag”
Thom Yorke – “Everything In Its Right Place”
