Paul McCartney brings his music to an indie label

Paul McCartney is now an indie-rock artist…kinda.
The former Beatle’s music post-Fab Four (Wings, solo albums) was controlled by EMI Music until recently when the deal between Macca and the major label expired (via TwentyFourBit). So McCartney took his music and went somewhere else with it.
His music will now be re-issued through Concord Music Group which is a label he’s already done the album Memory Almost Full with. The first re-issue will be the Wings album Band on the Run and it’ll be out this August with fresh bonus material for you to check out.
Could this be yet another nail in the major label coffin?
