Listen: The Dead Weather – “Gasoline”
Why can’t every band sound like The Dead Weather? I’d be a much happier person.
Their sophomore LP, Sea Of Cowards, is but mere weeks away from being released in record stores on May 11 and to whet our appetites even further, a new track has surfaced online called “Gasoline”. It’s incredible.
The organ-driven tune features Alison Mosshart sounding like she’s taken some vocal tips from Jack White when she sings on this track and I’ve never been more in love with this woman.
Between her raw, sexy vocals and the guitars which sound like they came straight from a White Stripes album, this song makes you want to go out and make dirty, lustful, evil love to someone.
