Wolfmother’s drummer leaves the band
I don’t wanna place full blame on Andrew Stockdale but why can’t anyone who’s in his band stick around?
Wolfmother drummer Dave Atkins has decided to quit the band after two years behind the skins. A recent statement released by the band says that Atkins wants to stay at home and spend time with his family.
The statement also says that everyone in the band is cool with the decision and had been auditioning new drummers ever since Stockdale performed with Slash on The Tonight Show. They’ve selected a new drummer named Will Rockwell-Scott, formerly of the bands Mooney-Suzuki and Har Mar Superstar.
Rockwell-Scott will be with the band for the rest of their current Cosmic Egg tour. Anyone wanna start a pool as to who’s leaving Wolfmother next? I’m putting $10 down on the bassist.
