We like rock music more than you. It's just the way it is…

The upcoming American and Canadian Carnage tours featuring Slayer, Megadeth and Testament are already massive enough just with the bands that are performing. But they’ve decided to turn it up just a little bit more.

Both Slayer and Megadeth will play their classic albums in their entirety at every stop. Slayer will break out their album Seasons In The Abyss and Megadeth will rock out Rust In Peace from beginning to end (via Blabbermouth).

Both albums were released in 1990 and both were responsible for pushing Megadeth and Slayer towards bigger audiences and worldwide acclaim. Seasons was Slayer’s first album that made it into the top 40 in the U.S. while Rust made it into the top 25 and is still considered to be one of the greatest metal albums of all time.

The American/Canadian Carnage tours were originally supposed to be in January and February of 2010 but, due to Slayer bassist Tom Araya’s back surgery, the tours were moved to the summer months. Megadeth remained busy by going on their “Rust In Peace” tour which celebrated the 20th anniversary of the album. Plus, they also brought back original bassist Dave Ellefson.

The tours kick off on July 23rd in Quebec City, Canada and will end on September 4th in Portland, OR. All of the tour dates are down below.
