Tool announces summer tour dates

This summer just keeps getting better when it comes to live shows. Especially now since it involves Maynard James Keenan and Tool playing somewhere.
Tool will be going on tour this summer and have announced the first batch of dates (via Blabbermouth). June 19th in New Orleans, LA is where the very first show will take place.
The band has been working on their newest album since 10,000 Days which was released back in ’06. A band newsletter was released to fans recently and it gave an update on the state of the recording process.
“Members of the band are still in the process of writing new material (three days a week) . . . it shouldn’t be long before the dry-erase board is filled with a bewildering array of color-coded intros, progressions, agitatos, con sordinos, crescendos, diatonics, inversions, resolutions, transitions, variations, obbligatos, consonance, and endings — the arrangements that millions will attempt to download off the Internet.”
I really can’t argue with that last line. I’m sure we’re all gonna try to get our greedy little paws on this one asap.
The first five tour dates are listed down below. More are expected to be announced soon so if your city isn’t on the list just have faith.
Tool tour dates:
6/19 – New Orleans, LA – UNO Lakefront Arena
6/20 – Houston, TX – Toyota Center
6/23 – Oklahoma City, OK – Ford Center
7/7 – Edmonton, AB – Rexall Place
7/9 – Vancouver, BC – General Motors Place
