What could possibly be the loudest tour of 2010 now has official show dates.

The BlackDiamondSkye tour, which combines Alice in Chains, Deftones and Mastodon on the same bill, revealed the tour dates earlier this morning over at the official website.

It all kicks off on September 16 in Chicago, IL and goes until October 16 with a show in Las Vegas. More dates are expected to be announced soon. Tickets for most of the shows go on sale on May 22nd except for the Toronto show (May 20th) and Vancouver’s show (May 15th).

“We’re really looking forward to touring with our friends, Deftones and Mastodon,” said AIC guitarist Jerry Cantrell. “Each band has its own unique flavor and the combination of all three will make for a great show and a good time on the road.”

The tour was dubbed BlackDiamondSkye for all the albums from the bands: AIC’s Black Gives Way To Blue, Deftones’ Diamond Eyes and Mastodon’s Crack The Skye. Check out the tour dates below.
