The Killers’ Brandon Flowers is going solo



A killer is going solo and there’s nothing we can do to stop him.

By killer, of course, I mean Brandon Flowers of The Killers. I didn’t mean, like, a real killer because that would just be…scary…okay I’m writing the rest of this post from under my bed.

Our amigos at TwentyFourBit broke the news that Flowers is currently working on a solo LP that’s tentatively titled Flamingo. If you head over to the Killers’ website you’ll notice a giant neon sign displaying Flowers’ name and a spot that says “Sign Up”.

By clicking that link, you’ll be able to sign up for a mailing list where you’ll get updates on the progress of Flowers’ solo album. It’ll also take you to brandonflowersmusic.com where you can sign up for the mailing list again.

Now just because the band is on hiatus and Brandon is releasing a solo album, it does not mean the band has broken up. On the contrary, they just signed a new deal with Universal Music which means there will be plenty more Killers music to come. But for now, the members of the band are off doing their own thing. Here’s hoping we get some solid music from them individually as we do when they’re together.
