Watch: The National – “Bloodbuzz Ohio”



The National’s new album, High Violet, is in stores today and is a definite must buy.

But don’t take my word for it. I’ll leave it to the music video for the band’s single “Bloodbuzz Ohio” to convince you.

Frontman Matt Berninger shows up in this black and white clip that looks like it could be studied in film classes at colleges.

As he sings, he also sways and dances to the beat while shots of him standing in random locations in Brooklyn are spliced in between. I don’t know what it is about this video but it just says cool.

Almost like if there were an indie-rock version of the Rat Pack, Berninger would definitely be a member of the crew with the way he looks in this video.
