Watch: Phoenix go acoustic at NPR
Your favorite French dance-rock band, Phoenix, can actually still sound good when you take away all the studio sounds and effects and hand them a couple of acoustic guitars and a Casio keyboard.

The band recently stopped by NPR and played an unplugged, four-song set for the station’s Tiny Desk Concert series. The songs that were played included mega-hits “Lisztomania” and “1901″ as well as the song “Armistice” which is also from their LP Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix and “Playground Love” which is a song from the Virgin Suicides movie soundtrack.
You can watch the video of the performance and download an mp3 of the concert by heading over to NPR’s website. It’s definitely worth taking 15 minutes out of your day to enjoy this bit of acoustic rock brilliance.
