Listen: 30-second clips of new Arcade Fire songs

There’s word on the streets that Arcade Fire’s new album is coming out this July. By streets, of course, I mean blogs and by July I mean…July.
Consequence of Sound has reported that sources close to the band have said the Canadian indie-rockers plan on releasing their third record in late July. Arcade Fire already had the web all abuzz when they said they were releasing some new music in a couple of weeks.
That new music would be their brand new single called “Suburbs” and the b-side “Month Of May”. Arcade Fire was kind enough to supply us with 30-second clips of the songs and you can stream them at their official website or down below.
While “Suburbs” is more of a piano driven track, “Month Of May” is more of a rocker. I’m sure that “Suburbs” will make it onto the new LP but I’m hoping that the b-side also finds a place there. I’m actually liking it more than the A-side. So do yourself a favor and check out both of the 30-second samples. Who would have thought 30 seconds of anything would be so satisfying?
