[...] Summertime is a week away and it’s time to start finding those new summer jams to listen to. Well allow me to introduce you to a band that embodies that summer vibe we all love so much. They’re our band of the week and they’re called Venice Queen. Hailing from Richmond, British Columbia, Venice Queen is what 311 would have sounded like if they were a bit more distorted and got rid of SA Martinez. It’s that upbeat rock n’ roll sound from a band that even name checks the summertime in one of the titles of their song.
