Jack White, Dave Grohl and more to honor Paul McCartney at the White House

Paul McCartney is set to be honored at the White House on June 2nd and will receive the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. So to help celebrate, a few of your favorite rockers will perform in honor of Sir Macca.
Jack White, Dave Grohl, Elvis Costello and more are honoring the legendary Beatle by performing his own songs as part of a special concert in the White House (via CoS). Also a part of the ceremonies are Jerry Seinfeld, Stevie Wonder, Corinne Bailey Rae and…the Jonas Brothers? Why does the president like them so much? They’re no Justin Bieber!
But here’s the cool part. We’ll get to see the concert on television…not live but we’ll still get to see it air on PBS July 28th as part of the “In Performance at the White House” series. So that’ll be a good night to make a bag of popcorn and sit around the tube.
I’m wondering what songs Jack White and Dave Grohl will play. You think maybe they’ll do a duet of “Say Say Say” like Paul did with Michael Jackson? Jack could easily sing Jackson’s part and give it a dirty blues feel.
