John Frusciante and Omar Rodriguez Lopez release second album



The spacey, psychadelic dynamic duo that is former RHCP axeman John Frusciante and the Mars Volta’s Omar Rodriguez Lopez have done it once again.

Recording under the name Omar Rodriguez Lopez Quartet (also featured in the band are Marcel Rodriguez Lopez, Omar’s brother, and Juan Alderete de la Pena), the guys took a different route from their last LP and recorded an eight part instrumental piece (via TwentyFourBit).

The LP, entitled Sepulcros De Miel, is available for you to download over at Rodriguez Lopez’s official website. You can pay as much or as little as you want but know that all proceeds go to the “Keep Music In Schools” program. So if you can give a little something it would certainly help.
