The song, called "Boxer", is less than three minutes long but gets the job done. A little bit of old school mixed with a fresh sound, singer Brian Fallon's Springsteen-esque vocals makes us wonder what would happen if the Boss himself decided to go punk.

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010
Your favorite French dance-rock band, Phoenix, can actually still sound good when you take away all the studio sounds and effects and hand them a couple of acoustic guitars and a Casio keyboard.

The band recently stopped by NPR and played an unplugged, four-song set for the station's Tiny Desk Concert series. The songs that were played included mega-hits "Lisztomania" and "1901" as well as the song "Armistice" which is also from their LP Wolfgang… Read More

Things are starting to heat up in the legal system as Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose is now counter-suing his former manager Irving Azoff.

Listen: Innerpartysystem – “American Trash”

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

A band that I feel is still way too underrated is the electro-rock act Innerpartysystem. Their songs are solid, their live show is insane and now they've got some new music coming out that you should be listening to.
The boys are streaming the radio edit of their brand new song called "American Trash" over at their Myspace page. The song is definitely a banger that you could easily hear at clubs or at a rock show.… Read More
