Papa Roach releasing new album this August

Remember when you liked Papa Roach? Waaaaay back in the day when they made the song “Last Resort”? Well you may have to get ready to like them again.
The band announced at their website that they’re releasing their newest album called Time For Annihilation…On the Road and On the Record on August 31st. Their first single from the new LP is called “Kick In The Teeth”.
This may be the band’s sixth album but it’s a first for the band when it comes to distribution. This record will be released through the indie label Eleven Seven Records unlike the band’s previous five LP’s which were all handled by major label Universal.
“We wanted to work with a team who’s focused on rock music rather than pop and urban,” said singer Jacoby Shaddix. “Moving to a successful indie Like Eleven Seven Music gives us that without sacrificing the manpower of a major. We are excited about the future of Papa Roach.”
So does this mean that Papa Roach is now an indie band? Will Hipster Runoff write about them in quotes? Will kids in Brooklyn start wearing black, get lip rings and odd tattoos and say that they “get” this album? Probably not but there’s plenty of people who are looking for new fight/workout music so who better than these guys?
