Watch: The Strokes play secret show in London

If you guys think that hipsters and indie-rock fans were losing their minds over Arcade Fire recently playing shows then the return of The Strokes may have actually prompted them to put down their PBR’s for a minute or two.
New York’s godathers of indie-garage rock made a low-key return to the music world last night when they played a secret show at London’s Dingwalls under the moniker of “Venison”. It was the first time in four years the band had set fot on a stage together.
Consequence of Sound reports that the band played an 18-song set which included favorites like “Last Night”, “Reptilia” and “12:51″. No new songs were played during the show but I’m guessing it’s because they wanna save those for the bigger shows like Lollapalooza.
Down below are some videos taken from the show. They may be a bit dark and a bit grainy but, hey, it’s the Internet. What’d you expect from a secret show, HD footage and plenty of lighting? You must be new here.
