Watch: Slash gets tackled on stage



It’s one thing if a rock star that you hate ends up getting attacked by an unruly fan while they’re on stage (calling all Noel Gallagher haters) but if a rocker that I dig gets assaulted then I get upset at these “rock terrorists”.

An example of this happened recently in Milan, Italy where Slash was playing a concert. In the middle of his solo while playing “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, a large man came from the side of the stage and attempted to tackle Slash. Luckily security got to him before any real damage could be done.

Slash was pushed a bit but, after a slight pause, continued to rock out. RockRadio.co.uk reported Slash’s comments about the audience for that night’s show.

“It was a rowdy crowd for sure – but amazing,” said Slash. “The guy who nailed me didn’t take me down but he busted my poor guitar. Ah well… it was a kick-ass rock show.”

Check out video of the incident down below. Good to know Slash wasn’t a diva and go storming off the stage after being assaulted like that.

    that is why Slash is so amazing! Doesn’t miss a note (barely, considering) and passes off the whole thing as “a rowdy crowd – amazing show”. Top Hats off to a Rock ‘n’ Roll legend…
