Listen: Arcade Fire – “Ready To Start” and “We Used To Wait”



The hype machine (not the incredible website but the metaphorical “machine”) is in overdrive for Arcade Fire and their forthcoming album The Suburbs.

Between releasing their first two songs, “Month of May” and “The Suburbs”, announcing a North American tour with Spoon and playing small yet amazing shows in Canada, you’d think people would have had enough of this band clogging the blogosphere. But no! Earlier today, two brand new songs found their way to the interweb and people are crazy-go-nuts all over again.

But I can’t blame them. The songs “Ready To Start” and “We Used To Wait” are solid tunes through and through. As a matter of fact, “Ready To Start” is the first official U.S. single and “We Used To Wait” is the first official UK single (via CoS). Check them both out down below.
