Watch: Gorillaz – “Melancholy Hill”
Gorillaz are still trying to welcome us to the world of the Plastic Beach and this time we’re going to the part of the island called “Melancholy Hill.”
The song is the band’s new single which means it has to have a music video, right? Thanks to the fine folks at Some Kind of Awesome! we got our greedy little paws on it a day before it comes out on iTunes.
The video, directed by Gorillaz animator Jamie Hewlett, shows how the band discovered Plastic Beach and also tells the origin of Noodle. Plus, you’ve got animated cameos from Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and even Snoop D-O-double-G. Check it out down below.
