Watch: MGMT – “It’s Working”



Even though critics are split on MGMT’s newest album, Congratulations, the band continues to make their way with the new record and have just released a new video for the song “It’s Working.”

Prefix Mag reports that the warped surf-tune will be the band’s third single from the LP. The video features Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser coming across a box and instructions “to put together a machine that’s constantly changing, and we end up losing control over it.” (via Pitchfork)

VanWyngarden added that the plot for the video “sounds so metaphorical for our musical career, which is really funny.” Featuring ballerinas. little asian boys eating ice cream and the band being swallowed whole by this machine, you can file this video with the rest of the oddities that the band has filmed to accompany their music.
