Heaven & Hell reveal guest singers for Dio tribute show

The surviving members of Heaven & Hell – Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinnie Appice – have revealed the line up of guest singers for an upcoming Dio tribute show in London.
On Saturday, July 24th at the High Voltage Festival, the band is planning to play a one-time show in honor of the fallen metal master Ronnie James Dio. The band have selected Deep Purple bassist/Black Sabbath singer Glenn Hughes and singer Jorn Lande to take over the vocal duties for the show (via Gibson).
Lande isn’t really a name on the metal radar unless you followed his solo career or when he fronted the UK metal band Masterplan. If you want to know how the dude got this gig, click here to check out some of his work.
Butler said in a press release that the show is “going to be a very emotional occasion. Ronnie loved his fans like no one else I know – and they loved him. It will be a privilege doing a gig in honor of his memory, and to help towards his charity.” Proceeds from the show are also going to the Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund which was started by Dio.
